Presentations and Publications - Fall 2019

We love recognizing our accomplished alumni and their presentations and publications that have occurred since the last release of the DM Digest.

Byron Clayton, DM ’09 and Michael Grieves, DM ’00  spoke at the Cleveland Council on World Affairs form in the Select USA Investment Summit session “Understanding How Artificial Intelligence Will Affect Advanced Manufacturing” held in Cleveland, OH at the Cleveland Museum of Art on June 1, 2019.
Joann Farrell Quinn, PhD ‘13 published her book Cultivating Leadership in Medicine: Preliminary Edition. Phil Cola, PhD ’15 wrote Chapter 2 from Physician to Physician Leadership
Bob Gemmell, PhD ’13, “Learning Behaviors Across Levels in New Ventures and Innovation Outcomes” in the Journal of Small Business Management
Stephan Liozu, PhD ‘13 co-authored a book on Pricing Strategy Implementation:  Translating Pricing Results.
Stephan also published an article on Penetration of the pricing function among global Fortune 500 firms in the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management and he published an article titled Value champions in business markets: Four role configurations in the Industrial Marketing Management Journal. 

James Hemsath, DM ’17 presented a poster on multiparty collaborative approach to projects in the high latitudes at the Artic Futures Conference 2050 held in Washington DC September 4-6, 2019.

Arron Fraser, PhD ’18 presented at the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) 2019 Colloquium in Edinburgh, Scotland July 4-6, 2019 on “The mediating effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on independent subsidiary initiatives”. 

Avi Turetsky, PhD ’18 presented at the EDHECinfra Days 2019 Conference in London, England June 6-7, 2019. His presentation was entitled, “Should We Care about Private Infrastructure?” In addition, Avi participated on a panel called, “Fool-Proofing Infrastructure Investments-The 2019 TICCS Consultation”.

Avi presented on Private Infrastructure: A Brief Introduction to an Intriguing and Important Asset Class at the Defined Contribution Alternatives Association – General Session Meeting in New York, NY on October 10, 2019.  
Avi attended the ASK 2019 Global Summit by the Korea Economic Daily Conference in Seoul, Korea on October 23, 2019. He presented on Infrastructure and Real Estate Secondaries: An Analytical Introduction 
Suzanne Cromlish, PhD ’17 presented her research “Empowering the 99%...One ESOP at a Time!” at the 2019 Positive Organizational Scholarship Research Conference at the University of Michigan June 5-6, 2019 and at the Fourteenth International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences July 10-12 in Mexico City.
