Stephen Brand, DM’04, a global entrepreneurial ecosystem consultant, has been engaged by Pragma Corp. as a Senior Competitiveness and Business Growth Advisor in a USAID funded initiative through the American Chamber of Jordan to help Jordanian businesses be more competitive as they seek to establish their presence in US markets.
Through his continuing work with the Center for International Private Enterprise, he is prototyping and conducting a qualitative assessment interviewing entrepreneurs throughout the country to better understand the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Afghanistan, leading to establishing stronger provincial and national strategies and policies to help entrepreneurs thrive into the future.
Todd Creasy, DM ‘07, is in his 10th year at Western Carolina University serving as Professor and School Director for the disciplines of accounting, finance, information systems and business law. This school, within the college of business, has approximately 50 faculty members, 1 graduate program in accounting and approximately 1250 students in total.
Rachel Talton, DBA ‘10, was recognized as one of the Top 100 CIO/CTOs in America by the National Diversity Council where they hosted the 2021 Inaugural Tech Inclusion Conference.
Mariana Amatullo, PhD ‘15, has been serving since 2019 as Vice Provost for Global Strategic Initiatives, and was appointed Vice Provost for Global Executive Education and Online Strategic Initiatives, effective March 1, 2021. In this new role, she will build open-enrollment online executive education programs, long-form executive masters, and bespoke large-scale programs tailored for corporate and enterprise partners, as well as further advancing the strategy and delivery of online degree and certificate programs. Mariana will work to develop a programmatic vision in the area of executive education in line with The New School’s preeminence in creative, critical and design areas, providing strategic directions and forging new partnerships. She will also continue to oversee the excellent work of the Distributed Education team.
Joseph Wall, PhD ‘15, just received tenure. Joseph is an Associate professor of Accounting at Marquette University and the Associate Editor of the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research.

Donna M. Iucolano, PhD ‘19, has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Marketing at Molloy College (Rockville Centre, NY) beginning Fall 2021. Molloy is a small private (Catholic) college on Long Island about 25 miles east of Manhattan. It is ranked by U.S. News and World Reports as one of the top colleges in the Northeast and by Money magazine as one of the Nation’s top-three value colleges for the second consecutive year. Molloy’s School of Business blends transformative education, executive-based learning, and the Dominican ideals of study, service, spirituality, and community in preparing students for a meaningful professional and personal life.
Ellen Schmidt-Devlin, PhD ‘20, was recognized as a Women of Influence in 2021 by the Portland Business Journal.
Ivory Simms, DM ‘21, will be representing Weatherhead School of Management on the Case Western Reserve University Food Insecurity Working Group. Ivory’s research is on declining food store presence in low-income markets.
